Host/Habitat. Gallus domesticus (chicken).

Distribution. Pingyao (Shi 2011); Shanxi ( Zhang et al. 1991). Remarks. Zhang et al. (1991) recorded the species as Cnemidcocoptes [sic] gallinaes.

Host/Habitat. Litter under Betula sp. (birch) forest, Pinus sp. (pine) forest and Populus sp. (poplar) forest. Distribution. Shanxi: Ningwu County, Luyashan National Nature Reserve ( Liu et al. 2009; Niedbała et al. 2012); Wutai Mountain, Shiziping ( Niedbała et al. 2012).
