CALIFORNIA: Ventura County, Ojai, Matilija Wilderness; 11 June 2021, 1140 PDT; J. Castilleja. Host: Misumena vatia (Clerck) (Thomisidae) , adult or subadult female. The wasp attempted to amputate some of the crab spider’s legs at the coxa-trochanter joints, holding it ventral side upward.
