Material examined. Holotype ♂, Gran Canaria , above Guia in direction to Moya , near La Montañeta, 300 m alt., 26.ii.1999, from various trees and bushes (C. Lienhard) #IC-99/6 ( NHMB, slide mounted).

Description. Only of male (Aguiar 2001); female and immature are unknown.

Host plant CI. Unknown.

Distribution CI. Gran Canaria.

Comments. Drepanoza montanetana is morphologically similar to D. molinai (see under the latter).
