Fundo Los Coiģes, Licanray, Termas Río Blanco, Villarrica), Malleco Province (Cordillera Blanca, Laguna María Jesús, Lonquimay, Malalcahuello, Malleco, Volcán Lonquimay). Biology. This species has been observed visiting Taraxacum officinale (L.) Weber ex F. H. Wigg., Chicorium intybus Linneus and Senecio sp. Vásquez & Simberloff (2003) also recoded this Nemestrinids feed on A. aurea and the exotic Rosa eglanteria Linnaeus. On the other hand, Devoto & Medan (2006) recorded to this Nemestrinid visiting Carduus sp. , Cerastium arvense L. and H. radicata . Finally, T. jaffueli also has been recorded on flower of Senecio patagonicus Phil. (D. Medan unpublished data).
