Distribution. Chile. Región del Biobío: Arauco Province (Contulmo). Región de La Araucanía: Cautín Province (Cherquenco, Termas Río Blanco). Región de Los Ríos: Valdivia Province (La Unión, Niebla, Valdivia). Región de Los Lagos: Osorno Province (Pucatrihue, NP Puyehue, Rofuco) ( Fig. 64 ).

Biology. This species has been observed by citizen scientists visiting the native Alstroemeria aurea Graham and Fuchsia magellanica Lam. and the exotic Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora (Lemoine) N.E.Br. and Digitalis purpurea L.
