This species is characterized by shape of metanotal squama. The upper lobes more or less finger like with their apices transparent and strongly pointed, inwardly directed and distinctly longer than the lower lobe and beset with long and short hairs.
The hitherto unknown male of this species is characterized as follows:
: 6 mm. Colour and sculpture as in. Clypeus distinctly tridentate. Tegulae and axillarly sclerite reddish-brown. Tergite II-V with lateral strong spines.
