Desert species distributed in Mongolia (Golub, 1977) and Inner Mongolia ( Nonnaizab et al., 1988; Hua, 2001). Host plant in Mongolia: Echinops gmelini Turz. (Golub, 1977) . First record for Xinjiang, where this species has been collected on flowers of low spinose Asteraceae .

Vinokurov).
