Phrynocephalus nejdensis macropeltis Haas, 1957: 69 . — Terra typica: "Dhahran [Az Zahrãn], Saudi Arabia " [approximately 26º17' N, 50º12' E].
Distribution: widely distributed on the Arabian Peninsula except the western and southern Jordan. Known from the Mesopotamian Plain in the vicinity of Ahwaz, Iran ( Leviton et al., 1992).
