Type locality

Senegal: desert area north of the upper Gambia River.

Current status

Synonym of Epitenodera brevipennis ( Saussure, 1871) .

Habitus

All specimens incomplete: abdomen is missing. The abdomens of all three specimens were already missing in the original description.
