Distribution. Mostly the Turano-Mediterranean Region ( Zalesskaja & Schileyko 1991, 1992; Dyachkov et al. 2022b).
Remarks. Scolopendra aralocaspia was synonymized under S. canidens by Kraepelin (1903).
According to the Fig. 3 in Zalesskaja & Schileyko (1992), there are at least three records of this species in Azerbaijan.
