TL: China, Shanghai.

Distribution: India (Uttarakhand); China; Indonesia (Java); Malaysia; Myanmar; Nepal; New Guinea; Pakistan; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Vietnam ( Diakonoff 1976; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).

Hosts: Reported larval hosts span many species and numerous families, including Cordyline fruticosa ( Agavaceae ), Alangium salviifolium (Alanggiaceae), Mangifera indica ( Anacardiaceae ), Annona spp. ( Annonaceae ), Areca catechu ( Arecaceae ), Helianthus annuus ( Asteraceae ), Ricinus ( Euphorbiaceae ), Erythrina spp. ( Fabaceae ), Michelia champaca ( Magnoliaceae ), Morus alba ( Moraceae ), and many others ( Fletcher 1921, 1932; Diakonoff 1939b; Mathur et al. 1958; Varma 1984; Gouda et al. 1987; Rajahekhargouda et al. 1992; Kuroko & Lewvanich 1993; Robinson et al. 2001).
