TL: India, Assam, Khasi Hills [now in Meghalaya].

Distribution: India (Meghalaya); China; Japan; Korea ( Byun et al. 1998; Komai 1999).

Hosts: Larvae live inside of the galls of cynip wasps ( Hymenoptera : Cynipidae ) on Quercus and Castanea (Fagaceae) , feeding on gall tissue and the larvae of the wasps ( Abe 1990; Abe & Sanari 1992; Komai 1992).

Illustrations: Adult and genitalia ( Clarke 1958: 452; Obraztsov 1968a: 178; Byun et al. 1998; Lv et al. 2014: 489, 490).
