Comment: The original description is based on an unspecified number of type specimens from “Malay Peninsula. Kedah; Catchment Area, near Jitra. Patalung (Peninsular Siam)” ( CAMERON 1930). Pace attached a lectotype label to the sole syntype in the Cameron collection, but the designation has apparently not been published. An examination of this specimen confirmed that Z. rufithorax does not belong to Zyras sensu strictu.
