Potamides girondicus (Majer, 1878 [sic])— Katona et al. 2011: 8 [non Mayer 1878b].
Discussion. Cerithium girondicus Mayer, 1878 is a junior synonym of Mesohalina margaritacea ( Brocchi, 1814) ( Lozouet et al. 2001a: 26) , which does not occur in the Badenian of the Paratethys. Most probably Katona et al. (2011) had a Ptychopotamides cinctus at hand.
