Discussion. It is very unlikely that the specimen from the Ukrainian Miocene is conspecific with Cerithium corrugatum Brongniart, 1823 , which was described from the Bartonian (Eocene) of Italy (syntype MNHN. F.R64237, stored in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France). Most probably, Pusch (1836, 1837) had a Terebralia at hand.
Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Korytnica Basin: Korytnica ( Poland); Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: Varivtsi (Khmel'nytskyi Region, Ukraine) ( Pusch 1837), Zhukivtsi (Ternopil Region, Ukraine) ( Andrzejowski 1832).
