Pseudophaloe xiphydria Zerny, 1928: 81 . Holotype male, by monotypy: COLOMBIA, Bella Vista, August 1927; with two labels: printed label “W. Columbien, Bella Vista, August 1927 ”, and handwritten label “ Pseudophaloe xiphydria Zerny ♂ type ” [examined].

Current combination. Pseudophaloe xiphydria Zerny, 1928 .

Condition of the type. Type in very good condition.

Remarks. The only other mention of this name is in Watson and Goodger (1986: 34).
