Karyotype: 2n = 58 and FN = 74. Autosomal complement: nine metacentric and submetacentric pairs (two large and remaining small), and 19 acrocentric pairs (one large and the remaining small). Sex chromosomes: X, a medium submetacentric; Y, a small acrocentric. G-banding was also performed ( Espinosa & Reig 1991, pp. 311, Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ; Teta et al. 2013).
