Microsargane (Microtholia) habrotes sp.nov.

Etymology habros, -otes (adjective) pretty; the most colorful of the known species.

Diagnosis. Redbrown, paler on venter, tegminal tips suffused with red in male, marked with yellow midline of dorsum and two tegminal stripes, one extending from sides of pronotum along claval suture, and another extending from base of costa to midlength of central anteapical cell; 2 contrasting black spots on 1st and 2nd apical cells ( Figs 9 View FIGURES 9 F–G).

Description. Venter marked only with narrow black lines across frontal arcs and dark tarsi; legs and genital capsule golden yellow. Coronal margin carinate at antennal ledge, becoming only angular on tylus (first muscle arc of face visible from dorsal aspect). Male paler than female, with red on tegmina confined to veins outlining apical cells. Male subgenital plates as wide at tip as at base, mesally concave and laterally notched just beyond short, thumblike lateral processes; style stout, tapered to bluntly pointed tip bearing sharp preapical spine and short setae basad of this on dorsal edge ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 55 – 60 E); thecal shaft broad, 4 × as long as wide in lateral aspect ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 55 – 60 B), 12 × as long as wide in caudal aspect, bearing 5–6 pairs of filiform appendages ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 55 – 60 C). Length: male 9.0– 10.4 mm; female 10.0– 10.7 mm.
