Daniilacheta aristovi Gorochov & Coram sp. nov.

( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 )

Type material. Holotype, imprint LD/Orth 19 ( ZIN), part ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ) and counterpart ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ); male tegmen lacking most of the costal half, remnants of which overlap the dorsal field (additionally, the part lacks its apical portion, and the counterpart lacks its proximal portion); collected by R. Coram.

Etymology. After the surname of D.S. Aristov, for his great contribution to the taxonomy and systematics of fossil insects.

Diagnosis. As for genus.

Type locality and horizon. Lower Jurassic , Sinemurian, Turneri Chronozone, Brooki Bed, Monmouth Beach, Lyme Regis, Dorset, UK (national UK Grid Reference SY 334 914) .

Description. Male tegmen ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ): subcostal area very narrow in middle part and slightly wider in subapical area; crossveins in distal half of lancet-like area oblique; crossveins in proximal portion of area between R+1MA1 and 2MA1 rather numerous and almost transverse; harp area approximately 1.5 times as long as wide; diagonal vein complete and oblique but almost straight and with a pair of anal branches; one of these branches located very near chords; proximal part of CuA2 (located before diagonal vein) short and almost transverse; remainder of CuA2 starting from diagonal vein in somewhat more anal location than point of contact of the proximal part of CuA2 with diagonal vein; MP+CuA1 with eight branches; area between CuA2 and chords more or less narrow; area between costal and nearest chords moderately wide and almost equal in width in proximal and distal parts; crossveins between MP+CuA1 branches, between these branches and CuA2, between CuA2 and chords as well as between costal and nearest chords more or less regular, oblique and dense, but cells in proximal part of area between MP+CuA1 and CuA2 somewhat larger and forming a barely developed pre-mirror. Length of complete imprint 16.2 mm (part – 14.3 mm, counterpart – 15.8 mm); possible length of tegmen 17 mm.
