Neoaulobia mironovi Bochkov and Perez, 2002 View in CoL

This species was described from Amazona finschi from Mexico (Sinaloa) ( Bochkov & Perez 2002), and there have not been its further findings since the first description. In this study, I confirmed this mite on the type host species in the new locality in Mexico (Jalisco).

Material examined. Seventeen females and 9 males from Amazona finschi (Sclater) ( Psittaciformes : Psittacidae ), MEXICO: Jalisco, Puerto Vallarta, 12 December 1981, coll. unknown; mite specimens deposited in FMNH.
