Diagnosis. The species is described in detail by Sasa (1980).
Distribution. The species is known from Tama River of Japan (Palaearctic) and Fujian province in southern China (Oriental).
Remarks. The body size and AR of the specimen from China (wing length 1.44–1.52 mm, AR 0.77–0.78) is slightly larger than that from Japan (wing length 1.18–1.26 mm, AR 0.23–0.53).
