Type: —[ USSR] in provinciis caucasicis [in Guriae m. Somlia], Nordmann ( holotype LE, photo. E, K).
Records in Turkey: — Erzurum: Erzurum, Palantekan (Palandöken Da.), 1980 m, 26 July 1874, Radde (fide Gabrielian in litt.).
Note: — According to Flora of Turkey, S. macrobotrys was recorded only once in Turkey “ B 8 Erzurum: Erzurum, Palantekan (Palandoken Da.), 1980 m, 26 July 1874, Radde ”. Since 1874, no records or collections appear to exist. Provided that we have collected only S. chlorantha in Palandöken Mt ( Erzurum), a species close to S. macrobotrys , the latter is excluded from the list of Scrophularia present in Turkey.
