Remark: The species was described in Nysson , but belongs clearly to Synnevrus , which is restored from synonymy here. See introduction for details.

Recognition: The male of Synnevrus arabicus can be recognized by the key characters, mainly by the colour pattern. It is the only Arabian species of the genus with a black mesosoma (with some red only) and with yellow spots or bands on T1-5.

Distribution: Only known from the type area in the Jazan Province in Saudi Arabia ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 33–36 ).
