Etymology: The species name refers to the reddish facial spot.
Description: ♀: Body length (except ovipositor) 6.3 mm. Fore wing 4.9 mm ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Ovipositor length 6.0 mm ( Figs 2D & G View FIGURE 2 ). Flagellum with 29 flagellomeres, filiform; 1 st flagellomere 3.6× and 2 nd flagellomere 2.7× longer than wide; all flagellomeres longer than wide; preapical flagellomere 1.4× longer than wide ( Fig. 3J View FIGURE 3 ). Head including clypeus covered with short whitish setae ( Figs 2C & E View FIGURE 2 ). Temple strongly but roundly narrowed behind eye, seen from dorsal about 0.3× as long as eye. Distance between lateral ocellus and eye 0.9× and between lateral ocelli 1.0× ocellar diameter. Frons granulate and with fine dense punctures, medially transversely rugose-punctate, dull. Face granulate and with fine dense superficial punctures. Clypeus slightly convex, finely granulate and with sparse punctures, apical margin rounded. Malar space 0.7× as long as width of mandibular base. Dorsal mandibular tooth slightly longer than ventral tooth. Genal carina complete and straight, reaching hypostomal one far from mandibular base; both carinae low.
Notaulus not impressed on mesoscutum.Mesoscutum granulate and finely and dense punctate, dull.Mesopleuron densely punctate; speculum large, smooth and shining. Median sternal groove (mesosulcus) moderately widened and with some transverse rugae in posterior third, but open posteriorly. Submetapleural carina strongly lamelliform on fronto-ventral edge of metapleuron. Scutellum moderately elevated, slightly longer than wide, punctate, without lateral carina. Propodeum rugose-punctate, dull; apical transversal carina strong and complete.Spiracle of propodeum round; pleural carina present. Hind femur 4.5× longer than wide. Inner spur of hind tibia longer than outer one, 0.42× as long as hind metatarsus. Hind claw 1.5× longer than empodium, with 5 rather short teeth in basal 3/4.
Areolet of fore wing quadrangular, pointed frontally; vein 2m-cu reaching areolet distad its middle; Vein 1cu-a postfurcal by 2.0× its width. Postnervulus intercepted behind its middle. Nervellus of hind wing slightly inclivous, intercepted in 0.7 of its length ( Fig. 3I View FIGURE 3 ).
Metasoma stout, covered with short whitish hairs ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). 1 st tergite 1.3× longer than wide; densely punctate laterally, with fine transverse rugae centrally. 2 nd and 3 rd tergites 1.3× wider than long, granulate and densely punctate, centrally with slightly lateral swellings. Ovipositor sheath 2.8× longer than hind tibia and 1.2× longer than fore wing. Ovipositor tip straight, with weak dorsal notch.
Color: Black. Antenna dark reddish-brown. Palps, mandible except teeth, vertical spot opposite lateral ocellus ivory. Face with central red spot, inner orbits with diffuse reddish-brown suffusion. Anterolateral spot on mesoscutum, frontal margin and hind edge of pronotum, tegula, subtegular ridge and anterolateral spot of scutellum ivory. Mesosoma covered with short whitish setae ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ). Upper margin of pronotum and scutellum medially reddish. Tergites reddish; 1 st tergite black sub-basally; 6 th tergite apically and 7 th tergite entirely brown. 2 nd to 7 th tergites with narrow yellow apical margins. Sternites ivory, with brownish spots laterally; hypopygium brown. Legs reddish; fore and mid coxae frontally, fore and mid trochanters apically and all tibiae basally with ivory spots. Hind tarsus reddish-brown. Wings hyaline, pterostigma brown.
Male unknown.
Taxonomical remark:This new species belongs to the subgenus Lissonota sensu Brock (2017) . It is characterized by its stout and mainly reddish metasoma with distinctly punctate basal tergites, long ovipositor, pectinate claws, and typical color pattern of face and mesosoma.
