Transpalearktický, vzÁcnějšÍ druh, který se lokÁlně vyskytuje v břehových porostech močÁlů, rybnÍků a nivnÍch řek. Larvy se živÍ mšicemi na rÁkosu ( Phragmites spp. ) a orobincÍch ( Typha spp. ).
