Acanthoventris olivarius Ruschel View in CoL (in Ruschel et al.) 2023: 62 View Cited Treatment (Londrina, Paraná, Brazil).

Remarks. This species was reported to be restricted to the Parana forest province ( Ruschel et al. 2023). The additional records appear to follow the dominion northeasterly from the type locality.

Distribution. The species was known previously only from the state of Paraná, Brazil ( Ruschel et al. 2023). The range is expanded here to include the Distrito Federal, Brazil.

Material examined. “ BRAZIL / Distrito Federal / Brasilia / P.C. Motta coll.” one male ( AFSC).
