Phytocoris goryeonus Oh, Yasunaga & Lee , sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Recognized by its relatively large size; more or less mottled dorsum; basic coloration dark brown to blackish brown ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 C, D). Male genitalia as in Figs. 7 View FIGURE 7 , 9 View FIGURE 9 ; lobal sclerite with prominent, triangular spines ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ). Sclerotized ring elongate and thin, adjoining with SPGC laterally ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 ). Most similar in general appearance to P. izanagii Yasunaga & Schwartz, 2015 , which is currently known only from Japan and assumed to be the closest sister taxon; P. goryeonus sp. nov. can be distinguish by darkened apex of antennal segment II, unclear annulation of metatibia, thicker sensory lobe of left paramere and longer right paramere, smaller and sharply notched combshaped lobal sclerite.
Description. Body elongate oval, large; basic coloration blackish brown to dark brown; dorsal surface matte, entirely darkened in some male, partly pale in females; sericeous, reclining setae and dark, short, semierect setae widely dispersed on dorsum. Head somber, partly brownish; vertex smooth, slightly pruinose; Antenna entirely dark, long; segment I blackish brown, with a few pale spots; segment II and III entirely dark except yellowish brown extreme base. Labium glossy and chestnut brown, reaching or slightly exceeding apex of metacoxa.
Pronotum weakly glabrous, posterior end thinly pale; calli tumid and rugose; collar brown, ventrally pale; pleura widely dark brown; ostiolar peritreme yellowish brown. Scutellum weakly glabrous, apex and corner partly pale brown. Hemelytron wholly blackish brown; more or less mottled with pale brown around outer margin of corium; basal 1/3~1/4 of cuneus pale, mottled with minute dark spots; membrane entirely somber and transparent; speckled with minute dark spots. Coxae and trochanters yellowish brown, with somber spots or fuscous spot. Leg blackish brown; femora highly mottled with light brown dots; tibia densely covered with dark, reclining, short setae; each tibia with two yellowish annulations, annulation of metatibia obscure; tibial spines dark orange, suberect, same length as width of tibia or longer; tarsi brown. Abdomen entirely dark, often ventrally pale. Male genitalia as in Figs. 7 View FIGURE 7 , 9 View FIGURE 9 ; sensory lobe of left paramere rather thick, spinous dorsally; hypophysis quite thin, pointed-end; right paramere slightly curved, very long and slender; PML of endosoma large, membraneous; Comb ovate, outer margin saw-toothed with sharp, triangular spines; SGP thick-rimmed, round. Etymology. Named after the Goryeo dynasty, which governed Korean peninsula from mid-10th to 14th century; an adjective
Distribution. Korea (Gangwon, Gyeonggi).
