Capitolichus tetroplourus Gaud and Atyeo, 1974
Hosts and distribution. This species was described ex Eubucco bourcierii (Lafresnaye) ( Piciformes : Capitonidae ) from Colombia (Dept. Meta, Macarena range; Dept. Cundinamarca, Bogotá) ( Gaud & Atyeo 1974). This mite has never been recollected since the original description.
