( Figs 1–4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 , 9–16 View FIGURES 9 – 16 )

Subgenital ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 16 ) plate narrow and short, about 0.5 times as long as ventra margin of pygophore; in lateral view, slightly curved dorsally, of uniform width; apex with long marginal setae. Aedeagal ( Figs 11, 12 View FIGURES 9 – 16 ) shaft in dorsal view, sinuate towards apex, in lateral view, sinuate sinuately curved, deeply concave on the ventral margin, a large triangular expansion along the dorsal margin; subapical lateral margin with row of small spinal processes; dorsal connective ( Figs 15, 16 View FIGURES 9 – 16 ) simple, distal part curved with smooth margins.
Female. Similar in overall coloration to male.
Measurement. Length: Male 4.40 mm long, head 1.35 mm wide across eyes, pronotum 1.33mm wide. Female ♀ 4.25–4.40 mm, head 1.41–1.43 mm wide across eyes, pronotum 1.42–1.45 mm wide.
Host plant. Unidentified shrubs.
Distribution. China: Guizhou (Suiyang).
Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China: Guizhou province, Suiyang county, Kuankuoshui Nature Reserve, 0 5 June 2010, collected by Bin Zhang; paratypes: 2 ♀♀, same date as holotype.
Remarks. This new species resembles Pedionis spinata Zhang & Viraktamath externally, but differs in having short subgenital plate which about half as long as ventral margin of pygophore; sinuate aedeagal shaft with row of small spinal processes subapically and distal part dorsal connective with margins smooth.
Etymology. The specific name, aculeate, refers to aedeagal shaft with row of spinal processes.
