Genus Frisilia Walker, 1864 View in CoL
Type: Frisilia nesciatella Walker, 1864 . TL: Sri Lanka.
= Tipasa Walker, 1864 . Type-species: Tipasa basaliella Walker, 1864 = Macrernis Meyrick, 1887.Type-species: Macrernis heliapta Meyrick, 1887 View in CoL
According to the male genital characteristics, the genus is divided into two species groups, the nesciatella View in CoL group and the anniningensis group, according to the presence or the absence of a long median lobe of the juxta in the male genitalia. However, males of F. crossophaea Meyrick View in CoL and F. homochlora Meyrick View in CoL have not been found; therefore, those two species cannot be grouped in this review.
