Distribution: Brazil (RN, PB, PE, BA).

Examined material: 26.IX.2017 (10 ♀), 29.IX.2017 (1 ♂), 21.IV.2018 (8 ♂, 9 ♀), 22.IV.2018 (10 ♂, 10 ♀), 24.IV.2018 (2 ♂, 1 ♀).

Comments. Grazia & Poock-da-Silva described D. caatinguensis based on several specimens collected from the 1930s to the 1970s in the Caatinga ( Poock-da-Silva et al. 2013). To our knowledge, there were no recent records of this species in collections. All specimens of D. caatinguensis were collected in Croton spp. ( Euphorbiaceae ).
