L. tubulosa Penard, 1890 comb. nov. Kosakyan, Lahr, Mulot, Meisterfeld, Mitchell and Lara
Description. Test elongated pyriform in broad lateral view, laterally compressed, with the lateral margins tapering toward the pseudostome, creating a somehow distinct neck. Small lateral pores usually present but hard to observe. In profile narrow elliptical with a pointed posterior part. Test yellowish brown, composed of scales taken from predated organisms (euglyphids or rarely Quadrulella ). L = 190 – 264 µm, B = 80 – 155 µm. Pseudostome oval in frontal view, surrounded by a thin organic collar, 35 – 54 µm wide.
