This is in the Dyscolus ellipticus species group, which is restricted to the Lesser Antilles, and in which the flight wings are completely or partially reduced.

Introduced to New World; an Old World (probably Asian) species widely distributed by commerce in the New World. Found around human dwellings, and probably living in decaying plant matter in and around gardens.
