Key to Korean species of the genus Metalimnobia Matsumura, 1911

1. Wing ( Figs. 1, 2 ) yellow with dark transverse marking along cord, but without smoky areas in cells. Ground color of prescutum yellow. Femur brownish yellow with distinctly darkened apex..... Metalimnobia (Metalimnobia) bifasciata ( Schrank, 1781)

-. Wing ( Figs. 3, 4 , 5, 15 ) grayish or brownish with distinct spots on frontal margin and smoky areas in cells. Ground color of prescutum brownish. Femur light brown with one or two dark rings distally, or yellow without dark rings................ 2

2. Dark spots at both ends of Rs uniformly dark ( Figs. 3, 4 , 5). Femur light brown with one or two dark rings distally........ 3

3. Femur with two distinct dark brown rings distally. -. Femur with distinct apical ring, second ring indistinct or missing. Dark brown spot at base of Rs not reaches vein M, discal cell clear, area between dark spot at wing base and at base of Rs usually with spots ( Figs. 4 , 5)............................ 4
