Goniocloeus laticeps Jordan, 1906: 326 View in CoL ; Wolfrum, 1929: 38 (catalog); Blackwelder, 1947: 767 (catalog); Rheinheimer, 2004: 42 (catalog). Type locality: Guatemala: Sinaja in Verapaz and Panama: Volcán de Chiriquí, not designated ( type material in BMNH).

Distribution. Guatemala; Panama ( Chiriquí).
