Distribution: Palaeotropical. In Africa: Comoros, Congo, DR Congo, Gambia, Mozambique, Oman, Seychelles, South Africa, Yemen, Zambia ( De Prins & De Prins 2018) and Mali (new record). Also in Autralasia: Australia; Oriental: India, Sri Lanka ( De Prins & De Prins 2018).

Host-plants: Phyllanthaceae : Flueggea virosa (Roxb. ex Willd.) Royle ; Solanaceae : Solanum sp. ( Goff 2018).
