Synonymy follows Nuss et al. (2003 –2018):

= diurnalis Guenée, 1854;

= parvalis Walker, 1866;

= perspicillalis Zeller, 1852.

Material : 4 ex. Mali, Bamako, Ouronina 12°5'39.78"N 8°24'3.16"W, 25.01.– 27.08.2014, leg. Kravchenko et al. ( SMNH). GoogleMaps

Distribution: Palaeotropical. In Africa: Angola, DR Congo, Gambia, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe ( De Prins & De Prins, 2018) and Mali (new record). Also in Oriental: India, Malaysia ( De Prins & De Prins 2018).

Host-plants: Apocynaceae : Alstonia scholaris (L.) R. Br., Carissa carandas L., Nerium oleander L.; Moraceae : Artocarpus integer (Thunb.) Merr. , Ficus benghalensis L., Fabaceae : Desmodium oojeinense (Roxb.) H.Ohashi ; Lamiaceae : Tectona grandis L.f. ( Goff 2018).
