With three-tined palp tarsal claw; podonotal and opisthonotal shields separated (fused in Halodarcia Karg, 1969 ; opisthonotal fragmented in Saprosecans Karg, 1964 ); without scleronoduli; without desclerotised punctate bands on dorsal and ventral shields; with seta st 4 on separate metasternal platelets or on the soft integument posterior to sternal shield; tibia I with 5 dorsal setae; genu IV with 9–10 setae; and tibia IV with 8–10 setae.
