Distribution in Iran. Fars ( Lashkari Bod et al. 2010, 2011 as Lepton gracilis ; Fischer et al. 2011 as L. gracilis ; Khajeh et al. 2014), Ilam ( Ghahari et al. 2011d; Khajeh et al. 2014), East of Iran (no locality cited) (Yari et al. 2014).
Distribution outside Iran. From Western Europe to Russian Far East and Korea (Fischer et al. 2011 as Lepton gracilis ). Azerbaijan, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, UK and Uzbekistan ( Yu et al. 2012), Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2007a; Yu et al. 2012), Korea ( Papp 2007b as Coelinidea gracile ; Yu et al. 2012), Mongolia (Tobias 1998 as Lepton gracile ; Papp 2004c as Lepton gracile ; Yu et al. 2012), Russia ( Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Photedes extrema (Hübner, 1809) ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012) and Chamaepsila nigricornis (Meigen, 1826) ( Diptera : Psilidae ) ( Lelej 2012).
