Diagnosis. Forewing length is 10.5–11.5 mm in males and 11.5–12 mm in females. Barsine syntypica differs externally from its relative B. syntypicoida sp. n. by its broader forewing with less elongated apex. The differences in the male and female genitalia are listed in the diagnosis of B. syntypicoida sp. n.

Distribution. Endemic of Sumatra Isl. ( Indonesia).
