Stamens included; petals free, shorter than 5 mm, petal bulges forming thick cushion with vertical subdivision; leaves appressedtopartly imbricate, glabrous; inflorescencesusually 2–4 mm in diameter or flowers solitary ( B. bullata , B. callunoides ).
