25. Ligypterus sp.3 ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 2–25 )
— i) calling song, 5.7 kHz (n = 2); 30 Ch/min, 21ºC; chirps with 4 to 7 subchirps (5 ± 0.63, 4–7, n = 20 obtained of 10 chirps from two individuals); the amplitude gradually increases slightly from the first to the last pulse of each subchirp, and from the first to the last subchirp; the first subchirp has 4 to 6 pulses ranging from 4 to 8 pulses in subsequent subchirps; the last subchirp is markedly longer including 12 to 19 pulses (16.8 ± 1.62, 12–19, n = 2) ( Fig. 94–95 View FIGURES 88–103 ); ii) State of Bahia, municipality of Itamaraju (Parque Nacional do Monte Pascoal); iii) present paper. Note: we recorded only two individuals of Ligypterus sp.3 , both with the calling song with the first subchirps similar to Ligypterus sp.1 , and the number of pulses of the last subchirp similar to Ligypterus sp.2 , for this reason we maintained these two individuals into a distinct sonotype.
