Terrestrial fern. Elev. in Uíge: 713–1213 m. Open forests or near roads. In moist conditions or shaded habitats. Distribution in Angola: Cuanza Norte, Huambo, Malanje, Uíge. Global distribution: widespread in E. tropical Africa, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa.
