= Jambosa courtallensis Gamble (1918: 239) View in CoL . Lectotype (designated here):— INDIA. Courtallum , Tinnevelly Hills; Wight s.n. (K- Distribution no. 1054) (K! [barcode K000793893 ]). Remaining syntype:— Fraser 111 (K!).
Distribution:— India [Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu] and Sri Lanka; up to 800 m.
Notes:—The protologue cites two specimens: Wight s.n. ( K!) from Courtallum in the Tinnevelly Hills, South India ; and Fraser 111 ( K!) from Sri Lanka. Since the species is named after the Indian locality the Wight collection was chosen as lectotype .
