Anastrepha isolata Norrbom & Korytkowski View in CoL
(Figs 1.D, 3.I)
Anastrepha View in CoL near robusta: Nuñez (1981) View in CoL .
Specimen Data. COLOMBIA. Santander. Ƥ, Lebrija, IX.1977, A. Martinez, McPhail Trap (CTNI).
This species was described recently by Norrbom & Korytkowski (2009) from Ecuador and Brazil. The examined specimen differs from the types because of its paler colour pattern; the extension from the base of the S-band in the middle of cell cu1 is weak and apparently is not connected with the V band. These specimen could be teneral and it explain the wing color differences. The spiracles of the oviscape on Colombian specimen are at the basal 0.98 mm. Additional characters for the Colombian specimen include: Head: 1.14 mm long, 2.14 mm high, 1.41 mm wide. 3-4 frontal setae (3 on right side, 4 on left). Antenna 0.76 mm long, 0.20 mm wide, arista pubescent. Thorax: 4.05 mm long, 2.82 mm wide. Wing (Fig 1. D): 9.0 mm long, 3.73 mm wide. Female terminalia: Oviscape 1.97 mm long. Spiracle at basal 0.98 mm.
