Type locality. Ko Lon , Phuket Island, Thailand ( Moriya et al. 2015).
Record from Thailand. Ko Lon (Phuket Island) and Ko Chueak (Trang Province), Thailand ( Moriya et al. 2015) .
Habitat and depth range. Marine, depth 2–3 m ( Moriya et al. 2015).
Distribution. So far, this species is only known from Ko Lon (Phuket Island) and Ko Chueak (Trang Province), Thailand ( Moriya et al. 2015).
Remarks. Anisomysis phuketensis resembles to A. robustispina , however, in the first species, the distal end of the telson is broader than the basal width, and is armed with 3 pairs of long, robust spines, which are 1/3 of telson length, while the distal end of the telson is equal to or narrower than its basal width in A. robustispina , and bears 2 pairs of long and robust spines, which are 2/5 of length of the telson ( Moriya et al. 2015).
