MNHN specimen. Ecuador: Casitagua, alt. 3500m. Dr. P. Rivet. 1903 (1 ♀).
Comments. The identity of this specimen (partially damaged with head detached but glued on point) cannot be confirmed without males, but diagnostic characters include: upper orbit dark brown, mostly near eye margin but also locally under each ors; vte and vti on dark brown, but vti at limit of yellow; hind margin of eye black on upper half; palpus dark brown; antenna yellow except first flagellomere brown apically (for approximately half its length, more so on dorsal surface) with patch of long white pubescence; mesonotum dark to margin of scutellum with only small yellowish spots at hind corners; anepisternum and katepisternum dark brown with 1/4–1/3 yellow dorsally; 3+1 dc; acr in 4–5 irregular rows; fore coxa yellow with base narrowly brown for about 1/3 of coxa length; femora almost completely yellow with base brown and fore femur brownish dorsally; tibiae and tarsi brown; wing length 2.5 mm. This female is most similar externally to the Neotropical species L. menthavora Sanabria de Arévalo, L. cirriformis Sanabria de Arévalo and L. spencerella Valladeres.
