Bérenger et coll. Maldonado; 1 ♂, barrage Petit-Saut , Kourou, IX. I992, piège lumineux, A. Chaminade leg.; idem, 4.VIII.1994, P. Peters leg.; in coll. Bérenger ” (Maldonado & Bérenger 1996: 252) .

Type: Holotype ♂: “ TYPE ” // “ GUYANE. CIRAD /Paracou Sinnamary. 10. IX. 1993 P. L. Bérenger JM réc.” // “dét. BERENGER J-M Sinnamarynus rasahusoides Maldonado & Berenger 1995 ” [hw Bérenger] ( Fig. 63 View FIGURE 63 ).

Type locality: Guyane , Sinnamary, Paracou [ French Guiana].

Current status: Valid species. This species was originally placed into the subfamily Reduviinae , and subsequently transferred into Peiratinae by Melo (2012).

Remarks: The paratypes are preserved in Maldonado’s and Bérenger’s collections.
