Original data: “ Venezuela ” ( Fallou 1891: 10).
Types: Syntype 1 ♂: “ SYNTYPE ” // “venezuela” // “ varipes Fallou ” // “ MUSEUM PARIS COLL. G. FALLOU 259-95” ( Fig. 36 View FIGURE 36 ) .
Syntypes 2 ♀♀: same label information as above.
Type locality: Venezuela.
Current status: Junior synonym of Rasahus hamatus ( Fabricius, 1781) ( Bergroth 1892: 263, Champion 1899: 217).
Remarks. As for the previous species, Fallou (1891: 10) didn’t designate a holotype and didn’t mention the number of specimens. Villiers labelled himself these three specimens as “ Syntype ”, added printed labels from MNHN and transferred the specimens from the Fallou’s collection to the general collection.
