KENYA: 1Ƥ Rift Valley [Province], Rumuruti, 1800 m. 0o20’N 36o35’E 29.iv.2003, leg. D.J.L. Agassiz, genitalia slide 1921 T. Karisch, coll. BMNH.
Wingspan 16.0 mm. This specimen is distinguished by the bicoloured black and white thorax – except for the brown tegulae – and the nearly rectangular basal white macula on the forewing upperside. The genitalia ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 36 – 40 ) are characterised by a hump on each side near the anterior margin of sternite 7; a wide, anteriorly and posteriorly strongly sclerotised ductus bursae; and rather straight horn-shaped signa. The description of this unnamed species will await the discovery of the male.
